Issues & Advocacy

A Powerful Voice for Investment Advisers

As the leading voice for fiduciary investment advisers, the IAA, in collaboration with our members, advocates on key issues impacting advisers and their clients before lawmakers and regulators.

We actively shape the legislative and regulatory landscape by informing and guiding discussions and educating policymakers about the vital role our profession plays in supporting investors, the capital markets, and the broader economy.

Our policy priorities are developed with input from members of our policy committees. Below, we outline our current top priorities, with links to detailed position papers for each.

“If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.”
