Cancellation Policies
We understand that unexpected circumstances may force a registrant to cancel. Cancellations must be received in writing, via email (iaaevents@investmentadviser.org) or post. Substitutions may be made at no additional fee. If you have questions regarding administrative policies, contact the IAA office at (202) 293-4222.
Virtual Workshop Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Your registration fee for the virtual workshop will be refunded in full if cancellation is received in writing, via email (iaaevents@investmentadviser.org) prior to November 30, 2025. There are no refunds for cancellations received on or later than December 1, or after workshop materials have been emailed. There are no refunds for “no shows,” but you will receive a link to the recording. Substitutions may be made before 5:00 p.m. ET on November 30, in writing, for no additional fee. Cancellations will be processed within two weeks after the event.
In-Person Workshop Cancellation and Substitution Policy
If you find it necessary to cancel your registration for an in-person workshop, the IAA will refund your registration fee (less $50 administration fee) if you inform us on or before 14 days prior to the workshop. No refunds will be made after that point. There will be no refund for “no shows.”
IAA Event Policies
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, IAA events constitutes an agreement by the registrant to comply with IAA event policies.
