Register for this 30 minute briefing webinar to learn about the issues we will be discussing with lawmakers during our 11th annual Adviser Advocacy Day on June 13th. Whether or not you are able to attend Advocacy Day, this webinar will apprise you of the key points we will be addressing.
Congressional focus on issues of importance to investment advisers has shifted since the new Administration and Congress have taken office – witness the major tax overhaul, renewed efforts to reform the Dodd-Frank Act and initiatives to streamline and modernize regulation. That focus is likely to intensify after this November’s mid-term elections. To advance their interests and allow their businesses to prosper, it is critical that advisers make their voices heard on Capitol Hill. Now is the time for advisers to impress upon federal legislators our industry’s importance to the economy, to the investors, to the capital markets – and to their constituents.
